6 wellness hotels to relax to the fullest in Germany

Do you know this situation? You want to relax on a lounger, hop into the sauna and enjoy the peace and quiet, but outside the infinity pool is tempting you? We say “no more”! Now you can rest, take a sauna and treat yourself to a massage in various wellness temples without feeling guilty. We have selected 6 wellness hotels in Germany where you are guaranteed to be able to relax.

Pfalzblick Wald Spa Resort: take a break in Rhineland-Palatinate

The Pfalzblick Wald Spa Resort is an oasis of well-being in the Palatinate Forest. For 35 years, the Maus family has been lovingly running the resort, living by the motto “Relaxation is celebrating the break”. And that’s extremely easy at the resort: the hotel is surrounded by the majestic nature of the Palatinate Forest and is located near the Northern Vosges – ideal for autumn hikes and bike tours. Back at the hotel, pure relaxation awaits in the two-story panorama house, with a forest feeling and wellness at the highest level.

Our tip: “The Forest Spa Calls!” package from three nights. The wellness package includes the attractive break package with feel-good board, generous included services and a back massage for both.

Meiser Vital Hotel: Stylish bathing in Baden-Württemberg

At the Meiser Vital Hotel, you can enjoy peace and quiet and time to yourself. In the 1,500-square-meter spa, with an indoor and outdoor pool, this is easy. Just five minutes from Dinkelsbühl, the wellness palace welcomes you with warm hospitality, a luxurious ambience and many details that make a spa stay special.

Our tip: Fancy some time together? Then the “Romantic Arrangement” is worth considering. The time out together begins with a welcome glass of sparkling wine, includes a late riser breakfast, a five-course candlelight dinner, a Kaiserbad for two and many more extras.

Göbel’s Schlosshotel: Autumn break in Hesse

Göbel’s Schlosshotel “Prinz von Hessen” is located in Friedewald near Bad Hersfeld. This luxury hotel combines the advantages of a wellness temple with the benefits of a break in the countryside. The backdrop of the moated castle ruin is hard to miss. The wellness hotel is historic on the outside and holistic on the inside. Its five stars can be felt at all levels: in the warm service, in the feel-good atmosphere and in the Kristall SPA with 2,000 square meters of relaxation area, indoor and outdoor pool, wellness garden and sauna area.

Our tip: book some “me time”. This includes two nights in a double room, the full pampering program with the Göbel’s feel-good bonus and lots of soothing touches.

Treschers: Take a dip in the Titisee

It’s easy to recharge your batteries at Treschers in the Black Forest. On the shores of the crystal-clear Titisee, surrounded by forests and meadows, you can truly let your soul breathe. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, take a walk and indulge in wellness – this hideaway is made for just that.

Our tip: “Treschers Deluxe” with four nights and a culinary delight program. The stay begins with a sparkling welcome and ends with a six-course dinner on the last evening.

Parkhotel in Bad Wörishofen: a taste of South Tyrol in Bavaria

Yes, admittedly, that sounds a bit confusing. But the Parkhotel in Bad Wörishofen describes itself as 100 percent South Tyrolean, but in the middle of the Allgäu region. But why?

South Tyrol is a place where Alpine down-to-earthness meets Mediterranean lightness. Where enjoyment and culinary delights are written in capital letters, the heart is in the right place and where people are just a little happier. It is precisely this way of life that Luis Hillebrand, a true South Tyrolean, wants to convey. However, it is in the Allgäu. The special thing about it: there is an Alpine part with huts made of rustic shingles and an original Ultner herb garden, and a Mediterranean part with palm trees and a year-round heated infinity pool.

Our tip: the “get-to-know-you days” are ideal for immersing yourself in the Silence Place in the middle of the Allgäu. The feel-good package includes half-board plus (really packed with culinary highlights) and a 50-euro voucher per person for beauty and wellness treatments.

Bodenmaiser Hof: switch off in typically Bavarian style

The Bodenmaiser Hof is not dreaming of the Dolomites. The here and now is what counts. A warm atmosphere, the cuisine modern, the private distillery right next door and the wellness area are highlights. “Please bathe,” is the motto in the AquaGarten or the HeimatLagune. The Zirber’l-Moos relaxation room and the BirkenRondell are, of course, very unusual and will surprise even experienced sauna-goers.
