There’s still a little way to go: the Netflix Sisi series \u201cThe Empress\u201d will enter its third season at the end of 2026 or perhaps even at the beginning of 2027. But first it has to be filmed, with production starting in September this year. And we know where you can find and visit the filming locations for \u201cThe Empress\u201d in Bayreuth.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Close to Nature in the Hermitage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Not quite in the center, but all the greener for it, the Hermitage invites you to take a stroll. Carefully tended avenues provide shade in summer and protection from the cold wind in winter, while the fountains splash playfully. The extensive palace park wraps itself like a green cloak around the Old and New Hermitage Palaces<\/strong>. Please note: not to be confused with the Old and New Palaces in downtown Bayreuth. The palaces and gardens are still maintained in exemplary fashion today (in Bavaria, they don’t let anything slip), and strolling through the grounds, guests can actually feel like they are in a movie or TV series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
